The company was a sister concern of Enkay Indian Rubber Company Pvt Ltd, which is also engaged in producing sports products for a number of years. It was a private company until 15 March 1994 after which the company was transformed into a public company. After incorporation of the company it took over the partnership Firm Coronation Sportingball Co., which started operating in 1976 and was engaged in the production of Sporting Balls. The company's shares are issued in India's Stock Exchanges (BSE and DSE).
